SOLIFLORE / LEA LABORIE
A graduate in carpentry in Marseille, Léa Laborie has been working with wood for four years now.
After training in organ building in Altkirch in Alsace, which she began in 2015, her attraction to wood quickly turned towards more classical work with training in carpentry and fitting.
Sensitive to the problem of waste in the wood industry, she decided, at the end of 2019, to start creating objects from wood scraps.
She also works with her brother, a tree surgeon, and regularly collects timber from construction sites. Most of the wood used in her creations is local and was not originally intended to become the delicate objects she creates.
