The second book of photographer Jean Pierrot, a unique tactile and visual experience around nature and the human body. Limited to 1000 copies.

'I want the book to feel like a simple, clear thought. Like a cold, sobering wind at the end of the summer.'

The title comes from the possibility that clay has, of acting as a genetic material in the origin of life. Just like its cover and pages, where “the materials are revealed to you”.
Every detail was thought out in this book. An entire piece in black and white, making it a coherent and clear story full of shapes and lights where you feel emotion and honesty between the photographer and the subject. Just like the finding of these places, that were inspired by the director Werner Herzog, calling “embarrassed landscapes” to the primal environments.
The motivation to continue creating comes from what the artist feels - “there is a lack of adequate images in the world”.
